A 4-WEEK SERIES TOWARDS RECLAMATION–of YOUR BODY, YOUR CHOICES, AND YOUR JOY

Trauma-sensitive yoga + opportunities for somatic self-discovery for LGBTQIA+ folks during Pride Month.

HEALING SPACES THAT EXCLUDE LGBTQ+ BODIES HAVE BEEN THE NORM FOR TOO LONG

What if I told you yoga and embodiment isn’t about fixing yourself, but about moving towards believing IN YOUR BONES that you were never broken to begin with?

If you’re feeling…

Z

Like your body is a confusing, glitchy spaceship that nobody gave you the user manual to

Z

Stuck in an endless loop of "Do I fight? Do I freeze? Do I ghost everyone and move to a cabin?"

Z

Kinda weirded out by "fitness spaces," but curious about yoga and opportunities for somatic healing

Z

Hungry for a place where you can show up in all your glorious, messy humanness–no explanations required

…then Pride Embodied might just be your new favorite home base. This four-week series shares information and offers live and recorded trauma-sensitive yoga practices for the opportunity to witness yourself and move towards the possibility of reclaiming joy—on your own terms.

Queer and trans folks experience trauma at ridiculous rates. The world has tried to make us feel unsafe in our own skin, disconnected from our bodies, and too exhausted to fight back. But guess what? We’re still here. And not just surviving—we’re healing, thriving, and making magic out of the chaos.

This series isn’t about “fixing” yourself (because you’re not broken). It’s about reclaiming what’s already yours: your body, your agency, your freaking joy.

Movement Practices that Meet You Where You Are

You don’t have to earn your right to take up space.

You don’t have to prove your worth. Your body—just as it is—holds the wisdom, resilience, and power.

Welcome to Pride Embodied, a four-week journey into deep listening, self-trust, and opportunities for radical presence, when that feels available for you. This is more than a yoga class. It’s a chance to give yourself permission to exhale, to explore, and to reconnect with the parts of yourself that the world may have told you to shrink, silence, or hide.

Here, we honor the full spectrum of queer embodiment—the joyful, the complicated, the tender, and the powerful. This is an invitation to come home to yourself in your way, at your time, in community, with curiosity and care.

The Process

Who This is For?

No prior yoga experience needed. This series is for every queer body, every gender, and every experience level. If you’ve ever felt like yoga spaces weren’t made for you, know that this one is.

🏳️‍⚧️ You’ve experienced trauma, stress, or body disconnection and want to heal on your terms.

🦄 You’re tired of spaces that don’t honor your identity, autonomy, or lived experience.

🔥 You’re ready to reclaim your body, your choices, and your joy—without the pressure to be “fixed” or “perfect.”

RYT500, TCTSY-F (Trauma Center Truama-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator)

I’m Jamie Stanish (she/her)—a trauma-sensitive yoga facilitator, poet, and queer human who believes in reclaiming embodiment without toxic positivity or performative spirituality. I teach movement for folks who’ve been through it—carrying history in their muscles and old stories in their bones.

Certified in TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga), Y12SR (Yoga of 12-Step Recovery), Applied Polyvagal Theory, and Transcending Sexual Trauma Through Yoga, I blend somatic approaches with deep choice-based healing. I teach in St. Augustine, Florida and online for beautifully weird, body-curious folks.
